Hiking Trails
Forest trails with varying degrees of difficulty, maintained by Interfor, lead from the resort. One pleasant loop takes visitors up to a huge first growth Western Red Cedar. Further along, the next loop intersects with logging roads which meander up the valley and around the island.

Skedaddle Tours
Take a trip around the local area with our tour boat. Drop a crab trap, head up Phillips Arm, view an ancient pictograph. Keep an eye out for bears, porpoises, killer whales. Learn about the history of the area. The trip lasts about two hours and includes snacks and refreshments. The cost is $75 per person based on four passengers.

We can also arrange custom trips for fishing, diving, or just exploring. The boat has a transom door and sturdy ladder and railing for easy access to the water.

Helicopter Tours
Stunning. Awesome. Superlatives are needed to describe the Coast Mountains, just a short hop from Blind Channel by helicopter. A one hour trip will take you up Phillips Arm, inland over untrammeled, snow covered peaks, and back over Bute Inlet. A two hour trip will reach Mount Waddington, the highest peak in British Columbia.

Let the pilot be your chauffeur for a unique experience. Or take along your fly fishing gear and set down by a stream far from the crowds.

The helicopters are quite busy during the summer season, so book early to avoid disappointment.

Slow Down
Don't do anything. Sit on the patio, watching the current flow past. Snoop needs petting, and refreshments are close at hand. Explore the beach, or play a game on the open field.
