The marina at Blind Channel includes seven widely spaced fingers 80 feet long. We usually dock boats larger than eighty feet on the outside of the north end, or south of the fuel dock. There is deep water for tying up on the inside of the long float the fingers are attached to. However, care must be taken not to venture too far shoreward coming around to the inside, as it shallows quickly.

There is a large counter clockwise eddy in the bay much of the time. As a result, boaters can be carried one way approaching the fingers, and find that it's running in the reverse direction once they reach the dock. Check how the float is resting against the outside pilings. We're usually there to help catch a line.

There are screens around the pilings along the main dock decorated with Annemarie's mosaics, with water bibs and power outlets attached. The clear, clean spring water is treated with ultraviolet light, and is included with moorage. Power is from quiet shoreside diesel generators, running continuously. The 15 Amp hook-up is $15 (Canadian), while 30 Amps (newly upgraded with a larger generator) is $20. There are a limited number of 50 Amp outlets. Overnight moorage (high season) is $1.75/foot.

There is a credit card pay phone near the ramp.

Dock attendants stand by on Channel 66a during the season for docking instructions. We recommend advance reservations for an overnight visit in July and August.
