Johnstone Strait Whale Watching Expedition

Johnstone Strait is considered to be the best place in the world to see orcas in the wild.  This 70 mile stretch of turbulent tidal water is a main thoroughfare for Pacific salmon returning to their spawning grounds.  It is a rich habitat for marine mammals including Pacific white sided dolphins, porpoises, stellar sea lions, and harbour seals.  Thanks to conservation efforts over the past several decades, there is now a good chance of seeing massive humpback whales on your expedition as well.

All our tours are exclusive, so you won't be competing with others to get the best view.  We can accommoadate groups of up to twelve peolple on each custom tour.  Our sturdy welded aluminum boats and experienced captains ensure a safe and pleasant excursion.

  • $1400 per group
  • Includes a gourmet packed lunch for you to enjoy either on a private island, or drifing with the whales

Spent two nights in a cabin. Great, comfortable cabin. Loved the BBQ. Great tenderloin and halibut dinner, highly recomend treating yourself at the restaurant.
