Marine Fuels
We carry diesel,
midgrade gas, and oils. We also fill propane. The next stops for fuel
heading up-coast are Lagoon Cove or Port McNeill.

Store and Post Office
Frozen meats and delicatessen
items, produce, all the basic staples, charts, good quality shirts and fleece,
books, ice produced from our own spring water, liquor (Agency Liquor Store),
gifts, and movies. .Baked goods are produced on site. Fresh bread usually
arrives in the store before noon, with some loaves whisked into the freezer.
Store hours are 8:00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M.The resort also has a laundry with machines
that take loonies, and shower facilities.
Dining
Treat yourself to dinner
at the Cedar Post June 10 through Labour Day, or enjoy a barbecued burger
for lunch on the sea side patio during July and August.
Accommodations
Make Blind Channel
your home base. We have a couple of options
to choose from.
Internet
Wireless internet is
available, as well as an internet station in the store. It's a shared satellite
connection, so no web cams, internet phone calls, or huge downloads, please!
Garbage
We're on an island,
and need to run a commercial incinerator. There's a scale by the store
for weighing garbage, at $1.25/lb. Keep recyclable Canadian beverage containers
separate, and they won't be weighed.

in Campbell River. Two airlines offer daily scheduled flights from Campbell
River: Vancouver Island Air
at (250) 287-2433 and Corilair Charters
(888 287 8366.) There are also daily scheduled flights from Seattle via
Kenmore
Air during the season (800-543-9595.) Northwest
Sea Planes provides another good alternative for flights to and from
Washington State, providing scheduled rates with no minimums. For information
on bus service to and from Campbell River, call Island Coach Lines, (250)
287-7151, or check the Greyhound
site. Island Link also provides
a direct bus service to the ferry terminals in Nanaimo.
Skedaddle
We now offer our own
water taxi service for tours and transportation with the Skedaddle. If you
would like to do a crew change, or need a ride in to stay in one of our cottages,
drive to Browns Bay or Rock Bay on Vancouver Island, park your vehicle, and
arrange a ride with us. We also provide service to other stops in the area.
We are certified and can provide a safe, economical solution for up to five
passengers.
