We started September, er September off right with a tasty selection of wines.  The Blind Channel Blind Wine Tasting has now finished it’s the second season. With fall looming on the horizon the cool evenings and rainy days settled in.  But inside the restaurant, lit by the warm glow of candlelight the wine flowed with the conversation. The blind wine tasting is a fun (and fitting) event with many guests looking forward to next year’s festivities.

September is a wind-down season here at Blind Channel as we said goodbye with a debt of gratitude to the stellar summer staff.  But September is one of the most spectacular times of the year amidst the discovery islands, wildlife can be found in abundance, tiny anchorages and the wide open straits clear of summer traffic while the whales, birds and bears fill the empty space.  For wildlife enthusiast may we suggest September?

But while dreaming of your next adventure why not check out the images of September here:

We had a wonderful week in this incredible place. We saw orcas, dalls porpoise, dolphins, and a bear. Awesome! We so enjoyed the helpful and friendly staff, too. We look forward to coming back.
